Mini clash of civilizations - The Washington Times: Commentary - November 15, 2004
Western Europe as a whole gets about half a million new Muslims a year. Most make their way from sub-Sahara Africa and North Africa, illegal immigrants smuggled by boat to Spain and Italy where they are free to travel with impunity to the rest of Europe. Thus, Europe's Muslim population has doubled to 20 million in the last 10 years.

They have been warning their political masters about the tinderboxes that many Muslim communities have become. Jihadi volunteers are known to have left for Iraq from a number of Muslim slums on the outskirts of major European cities. "
If even 1% of a population of 20 million decide to turn Jihadi, that's a major sized army in the heart of Europe. With gun control enforced in much of the EU and military spending on the delcine, Europe is going to have a MAJOR problem fighting this war. However, I suspect that it will be FAR higher than 1%, up to 10% possibly and THAT is a VERY significant number. If they coalesce in one capital at a time, we could see Euro governments falling fairly rapidly.
